Understanding BG numbers (continuation)

Yes, it definitely has. I weighed him (on my bathroom scales, so not totally accurate) and he is the weight he was at his vet appt on 1/29/24.

I can't tell you how much I appreciate this group! I have learned so much and feel so supported on this journey. And, Suzanne, your personal help has been so wonderful (helping me through my panicky moments!). You've given me the confidence to think things through and try to really understand what's going on. Thank you for that!:)

I've been using a U40 0.5ml syringe with half markings, and it's been tricky to draw up a 0.25u dose. I ordered a smaller syringe- U40 0.3ml with half markings- and it is easier to get that smaller dose.
My PM shoot didn't feel "right" though- not a fur shot, but it just didn't feel like a good shot (maybe it is just because it is a smaller syringe and had a different feel in my hand?). Liberty's numbers were also a bit higher. I'll try the smaller syringe today to see if it feels better and see how the numbers look today...

Just curious about the syringe size- 0.5ml vs 0.3ml- and which one others prefer.

I got a magnifying glass out to look at my 0.25 dose. Realize that a very difficult to see air bubble took up about 1/4 of the dose. I drew the dose up with three syringes trying all the tricks I know to alleviate air bubbles. Every time- air bubble. So it is possible my 0.25u dose I’ve been giving is not even that. Sheesh!

Now I am confused. I was looking at Liberty’s spreadsheet and I see it has data on there for 2/25/2024. But that is tomorrow. It’s now only February 24, Saturday. And you are on East Coast of the U.S. like I am.

Oops, my mistake! I corrected the dates- got a little ahead of myself there! (I believe the lack of sleep recently is catching up with me!;)).
