I thought you all might appreciate this link. It's a 2003 study done by researchers at UC Davis on the taurine content of common protein foods for cats/dogs. It's fairly comprehensive and they tested both cooked and raw samples, as well as measuring taurine in both the liquid and dry weights (as taurine is degraded by heat and is also water soluble).
