U-40 needles??

I use u-100 needles & my vet wants Jinx to go down to .5 units - do u-40 needles have half markings on them ??? Is there a type of needle I should be asking for when I call the pharmacy ?

You can't use U40 syringes for Lantus. You can, however, buy U100 syringes with half unit marks on them. Many people shop here online: www.adwdiabetes.com.

Your pharmacy should have U100s with half-unit markings. I know Walmart carries them, too.
