? Two vastly different readings?

Hey all, I just tested my cat for her +6 and she read 560. I thought that was wildly off, her +3 was 217, so I retested a minute later - 490. I'm confused why the numbers would be so off from each other just a minute apart, but they seem off in general unless she had a bounce for some reason. Her dosage was lowered by .25 a couple cycles ago to see if it would lower her PS tests so she was expected to have higher nadir but this seems strange. I'm about halfway through this bottle of strips, bought them only a couple weeks ago.

Bounce or bad strips or...?

The allowed margin of error on the test strips is around 15%, so 560 and 490 are not considered vastly different, since 490 plus 15% is 563.

Okay so the strips are accurate then, good to know, thank you. She must have bounced then :/

The number is probably somewhere in the middle. Or go with the lower number if that one makes you feel better. Lol
