Hi this is Shelly,
Not sure where to post. My cat's name is Boots and she's on Lantus. Was on the board for a couple of years when she was first diagnosed w/diabetes (5 years ago).
She is doing great. My reason for getting back on is I have a couple questions. Boots is 18 now. Took her to the vet today because I thought something
was going on with her teeth. I heard grinding. She hasn't been in years, to the vet that is. My daughter is diabetic, so I have been able to get Lantus.
As for vets, Boot's vet in particular is conventional, but still a good vet. Boot's success is due to the following of the instruction I received from this wonderful site, not the prescription food the vet wanted her to eat, along with the amount of insulin
Anyway, my question are about two products the vet recommended..dasuquin for arthritis and a pro-biotic called FortiFlora. They look OK. just
wanted to know if there is something better that you guys know of. Or if you have any issues with the products recommended.
Thank you.
Shelly
