I have the u40 syringes and don't like. I believe last time I used u100. If I remember correctly do the u100 have a smaller needle.
I was going to go get some today. I can pick up without a prescription correct?
Milo is on one unit of vetsulin in u40 syringe. I know I need to convert if using the u100 syringes. If I read the information correctly if he is 1 unit on u40 syringes, I'd go to the 2.5 line on u100 syringes.
Am I converting correctly?

Thanks

Thanks for the link. I read that and liked the pictures. Guess I'm off to Walmart again. So just to be sure I go to the 2.5 mark on the 100 needle. Just looks like a lot but I know it's a much smaller syringe.

Try it first with water to set your mind at ease.

Thanks will try. Mine is going 50 different ways and sometimes just being reassured or getting ideas from another with diabetic kitty helps

Short version: every 0.5 tick mark on a U-100 syringe = 0.2 units of ProZinc (or other U-40 insulin)

Got new syringes and found correct mark. Gave first shot at 6pm. Much easier. Anxiously waiting for vet to get prozinc so we can get off vetsulin. Got the Walmart meter someone reommended in other post of mine. Really liked it.
