Hello,
My cat Beeba is a newly diagnosed diabetic, having the diagnosis about two weeks ago. I got the vet to lower her from 2.5 units down to 2 units twice a day based on her BG#s. I have not been able to do full curves more than a couple times due to my job hours and have settled for spot checking as often as possible, this is one reason I do not have a spreadsheet. She is pretty cosistanly in the 120-100 range at most checks, whenever they may be. One thing I have noticed is that she has developed an involuntary twitch. Other than that she acts just fine, full of life and active as she has ever been. I am capaigning to lower her dosage with my vet and she agrees based on her numbers but does not want to drop the dosage to quickly. Has anyone out there heard of a twich developing during treatment and what might cause this. I am to contact the vet on Saturday to she about further reduction in her dosage.
