Hello,
My cat Beeba is a newly diagnosed diabetic, having the diagnosis about two weeks ago. I got the vet to lower her from 2.5 units down to 2 units twice a day based on her BG#s. I have not been able to do full curves more than a couple times due to my job hours and have settled for spot checking as often as possible, this is one reason I do not have a spreadsheet. She is pretty cosistanly in the 120-100 range at most checks, whenever they may be. One thing I have noticed is that she has developed an involuntary twitch. Other than that she acts just fine, full of life and active as she has ever been. I am capaigning to lower her dosage with my vet and she agrees based on her numbers but does not want to drop the dosage to quickly. Has anyone out there heard of a twich developing during treatment and what might cause this. I am to contact the vet on Saturday to she about further reduction in her dosage.

Can you make a video of the twitch? If you can, post it over on Health. It could be anything from something totally innocuous to a seizure. Without being able to see what you're talking about there's no way to know.

I really don't think it is a siezure. It's kind of like a quick blink or twitch as I said. It is something that has started since her treatment began. Other than that she exhibits no outward signs of distress and is happy and active, eating well and being her normal self. If I do make a video how and where would I post it? Could I just attach it to a post on the forum?
