Bron got to your question! You need to do your best to approximate those in between doses. As long as you're relatively consistent, you'll be fine. There's also a way to use digital calipers for measuring those quarter unit, in between amounts. The calipers are a relatively recent option and not many people use them. FWIW, I never had a magnifying glass.
