Hey Everyone!
You all know that Mister Mistopheles has many issues. CKD, Diabetes, Hyperthyroid, Arthritis.
There are tons of different websites with pdfs and information about the nutritional content of the food. Yesterday I bought some food that I *thought* was on the list, but turns out I read it wrong. I have taken it upon myself to try to compile a list of all the references for food. I will post below what I have. If there is something I've missed, could you let me know? It would really help to have it all in one place. That way when I'm in the store I can just open each file and look through them. Also, if there is a compilation that I haven't found could you let me know?
Thanks!
Jess

We have a post going in Think Tank with a food thread round up here.

Also, it is important to know if the information is based on the can labels, or on a dry matter basis provided by the manufacturer.

Once you have the relative percentage weights of protein, fat, and carbohydrates, you multiply by the calories per gram, total the calories, then calculate the percentage of protein, fat, and carbohydrate calories out of the total.
Ie, calculate the following
(100 * 3.5 calories * protein grams )
total calories
(100 * 8.5 calories * fat grams)
total calories
(100 * 3.5 calories * carbohydrate grams)
total calories
