Treats on glucose curve days?

hello! I am new and just have a quick but non-urgent question. Our vet advised us to conduct a glucose curve at home (our first) before trying a continuous glucose monitor.

My only question is, is it all right to give treats to our kitties on curve days? I have been giving him small pieces of 100% freeze dried chicken after the past couple of tests we conducted to incentivize him sitting still for the pricks. it has been working well, but it just occurred to me that this may be altering his natural glucose curve. He is on Lantus by the way, a half unit every 12 hours.
