I got phoebe a pack of chicken and duck, from blue wilderness. We are using half piece for treat. How do I figure carb content? I am giving the smallest piece possible. Ty

I was given her Orijen duck kibble treats for dogs but we are out.

Sorry, I do not. I’ve been giving Diamond Pure Bites. I don’t think those have carbs but, I never actually checked just assumed they didn’t.

I just look at the ingredients to see if there is any starches. The Blue Wilderness does have potato, I wouldn’t use them since Colin is very carb sensitive, but if the small amount you give doesn’t raise her bg then I wouldn’t worry.

I avoid the issue altogether by only giving freeze dried meat/fish treats.
