Re: Tray's AMPS 331 +2=315
 Patience...ha. You will get very sick of that word very quickly. But it's what we have to arm ourselves with for a long time.
Speaking of which, patience is needed in order to get the ketone test. go about it as if it is the second most important thing you have to do besides getting the BG numbers. I put Shadow in the bathroom the first time I t4ried getting it. I put plastic wrap over the cat litter in the box and sprinkled some litter on top of that...I left him in the room all alone. I kept going back to check on him, and he looked up at me with this pathetic sad face. He acted as if I was punishing him. I finally gave him a bowl with a little tuna water in it and closed the door once again. He drank it and finally went on the saran wrap so I was able to dip the test stick in it.
With high numbers, the only thing you can do is muster up all the patience you can....and wait...also, do the ketone test!
It is imperative!
I got so good at it that I could rush into the bathroom when he was using the LB and catch a stream as he was going...with a little plastic disposable cup! He accepted it as just another thing that the Weirdo has to do!
Will you be able to get some spot checks during the day today? Those were nice yellows you got last night! yay!! Many kitties have lower numbers during the PM cycle. It's important that you get used to checking him at night for that reason!
Hope you ave a great day!!!
