Trader Joe's Wet Food....?

Anyone tried it? If so, how'd it work out? I was looking at the canned food nutrition list and it seems pretty okay. Wellness is great because it is balanced and Dainty will actually eat it but it's burning a hole in this poor college student's budget. I was looking to find something along the same line but cheaper (impossible wish, I know!) If anyone has any other suggestions for a cheaper alternative that would be fab (other than blue buffalo, evo and whiskas, she turned up her picky nose at all of them)! Or Merrick, Cowboy Cookout, anyone know anything about that?

you could try fancy feast or friskies - for ff you want the classic variety - pate only, no gravy,

for friskies - again you want the pate only variety no gravy - I use the special diet (as it is lower in phosphorus) and use turkey and giblets and beef & liver varieties.

you can even go cheaper and use the sophisticat from Pet Smart - again, pate only
and walmart has their own brand - forget the name....

I don't know if trader joe is a good option, I've looked at the ingredients before and wasn't impressed, I can't recall why at the moment.

I feed Merrick's Cowboy cookout--definitely a great food and I would have fed it sooner had I thought I could afford it. I found that my local pet food store only charges 1.16 a can if you get 24 at a time, so it's about the same price as Fancy Feast there. If you go to the Merrick web site they have a store finder--you should call around and see if any feed stores have deals on it near you.

I also feed their Surf and Turf and Grammy's pot pie flavors.
