tossing the dice on dose, need experienced advice

he's consistently in the yellows, after blues and greens ten days ago

it could be either way, the dose is too small, or the dose is too large

at first I thought he was bouncing, but it's been more consistent, than a bounce, but I'm new, not sure

plus I don't like the pinks on AMPS

with the vet's concurrence, I tried a dose decrease, looked fine for a couple of days, then ....

he's eating very enthusiastically and always looking for more
normal size pee mounds in the litter box (I use pine pellets)
he prefers to defecate outside, in an area of soft dirt and pea gravel
he bounds up the stairs almost like a rabbit; has been playing with dog's ball and dangly "fishing" toy
has caught two mice and a shrew, close to catching a couple of flies
probably close to normal-for-him weight at a fraction over 12 pounds, has a waist but flanks no longer look like pits, backbone feels normal rather than a string of angular rocks
