Looking back at the past couple of weeks of Timmy’s numbers, I’m thinking we were doing well with the 1.75 units and then the Lantus pen was starting to run out and lose it’s umph. I started a new pen on the 12th, and maybe didn’t give it enough time to fill the shed again before I upped the dose to 2 units, and now I’m seeing some 300’s because there might be some bouncing going on. I’ll get some mid-cycle numbers this weekend to be sure, but does this sound reasonable to anyone? Although Timmy has never tested positive for ketones, I bought some strips anyway because of the high numbers, and she tested negative. There have been no diet changes, but I did adopt a rescue on the 14th, so we have a new young kitty in the house. She seems disinterested in the new girl, Juniper, but I was wondering about the stress.
