Hello,
I moved my insulin bottle further into the fridge as opposed to the door once I read that the door isn’t a good place to put it. But since doing that, after rolling the bottle around to mix the solution and poking the needle into her, she wants to run away and/or squeaks after I shoot the insulin in.
Before, when it was kept in the door, she would act like nothing happened.
Should I move it back to the door or let it sit out for a little while once in the syringe?

As long as you don't leave the door to the refrigerator open for long periods of time, the insulin should be fine on the door. To the best of my knowledge, Vetsulin is a pretty sturdy insulin and it shouldn't be a problem with it getting "shaken" a bit by the door opening. (Other insulin, like glargine is a bit more fragile.) The other option is to draw up the insulin and warm the syringe in your hands or leave it out for 5 - 10 min and see if that helps.

Older fridges can have problems with temperature control but a degree plus or minus shouldn't matter. Cat's can feel the cold but one or two degrees won't matter.
Ours is now 20+ years old and sometimes freezes the almond milk if the fridge is set at 33. Nothing in the door is ever affected whether its 33 or 34.
