Tonka 5/2 AMPS 70

I've read here that a 'tick-shaped' curve can result from too much insulin. (Slight rise at start, dip, then higher through rest of cycle with drop to next pre-shot). If Tonka's pancreas is getting in on the act more, that could be happening.

I don't have experience to give dosing advice. I'd recommend asking if tweaking the dose down as low as you can get might help. Does Tonka have a pattern of running significantly lower in either the AM or PM cycles? If yes, then maybe SID dosing on the higher cycle might help (worked for Saoirse).

I'm hoping to get a better idea of what happens during the day on the weekend. But he seemed to have the same raise and lower pattern going on the days that I didn't give him any insulin, too, and he wound up a bit higher after those. I haven't caught any significant drops that should lead to a rebound. Is this just something weird that happens once their pancreas does start sputtering up again?
