8:30 am cst tomorrow is the day finally that Miss Autumn goes in for her dental...fingers crossed that it will help her go OTJ as well.
When I made her appointment I had planned to stay with her, but since then things have gotten complicated and I'm not going to be able to be with her. First off, DH is out of town for work, but hopefully coming home either tonight or tomorrow by noon...and we have a massive winter storm schedule to start hitting us tomorrow at noon with freezing rain then switching over by early evening to blizzard and whiteout conditions. It is suppose to dump 12-18 inches on us along with 30-40 mph winds...just lovely after the 50s and 60s this last weekend.
I have promised Autumn that I will be back to get her as soon as she wakes up from her little nap at the Vetty Bean's but now I'm worrying that I may not be able to keep that promise to her depending on when the storm actually hits us, since I have a pretty good drive to get back to her, and with the winds and the fact that I drive a high profile vehicle. However, her vet said that if the worst happens and I can't get to her, she will take Autumn home with her overnight, so I'm thinking of taking a couple cans of her favorite food just to make sure that Autumn will eat for her if she has to come home with the vet, as well as her insulin in a couple predrawn syringes, and of course as always a t-shirt of mine from home. I just really don't want Autumn to think that first daddy left and didn't come home to sleep and now mom is packing her off and leaving her somewhere too.
