Would you please take a look at Tommy's numbers from the last few days? He seems to be all over the chart. Had a great 140 AM number today and tested again when back from Dr appt at +4. He was 309 so I gave him .2 units so that I wouldn't have too much overlap in insulin. Did I do that correctly? DH was wondering if the boys were getting enough food so I wanted to try out giving a little more thinking that it might help Tommy from bouncing. We are home and gone at so many odd times that it probably won't work consistently to feed mid-cycle. Just wanted to know all your thoughts. Going to bed now and will check in in the morning. Thanks!!

I think you are doing fine. Yes, I think he bounces into those reds, but your doses at the reds and yellows look good. It is frustrating that he bounces, but the theroy is eventually he will get used to the lower numbers and stop.

Lisa's Cassie is one of the best examples (bookworm). He bounced for months and months. Now when he gets a green nadir, he might bounce into the low 300s but he flattens out again. Most cats don't take as long as Cassie did.

Imagine you've thought about an automatic feeder, but have too many critters......

Time really goes by fast! I was going to give you numbers yesterday but work called and I was needed right away. I'm on my phone so I don't have access to his previous numbers. I do know his PMPS was 309 last night and shot 1U. DH saw the dog found treats and we aren't sure if Tommy had some with her. Tommy was 213 AMPS and shot .2 as I will be gone until 11pm tonight. I am home tomorrow so I can get extra numbers. I will post them and get back to you tomorrow. Thanks for giving me hope that he will level out at some time.
