Time to increase insulin?

I did a glucose curve yesterday for the first time and it was lower than when the vet did it, but still really high.

Because you are feeding some dry food you need to hold the dose for 7 days. That being said you went from 2 units to .50 and looking at the curve I would consider increasing to 1.0. Others might not agree.

I'm not doing anything until Monday because my vet is closed over the weekend, but I wanted to get a read on what people here thought because different vets at the clinic have had different opinions.

Hi Sabs,

Great job on the curve.

If it's at all possible, it would help you to start getting +2 tests on every PM cycle (and some later in the PM cycle if the +2 is the same or lower than the PMPS, indicating that further tests are advisable), firstly because the lowest readings you've seen to date have been on the PM cycle, and secondly because one needs some idea of what's happening on the PM cycles in order to better interpret the daytime cycle BG readings.

Without any real indication of what may have been happening in recent PM cycles I'm not able to comment on dose.
