Loki was diagnosed the 12th of Dec 2011 , he was put on PZI and he is still on it, what do you know or think about changing his insulin? I have been reading so much stuff and I still get somewhat confused_cat about a lot of stuff but things look clearer than they did when all this started. If you could take a look at his SS and let me know if I should be thinking about switching and talking to his vet? Just not sure on how else to help my boy and looking at all the opportunities and choices out there.
Thanks

I dont know PZI but I think you should go on the PZi forum and ask about a dose change. To me it looks like he may not be getting quite enough.

Are you still feeding FF? What flavours? No High carb right ?

The doses written down may be incorrect, due to use of U-100 syringe with U-40 insulin. Until the spreadsheet is edited and verified, I suggest we do not comment.

Hi Michelle,

Looking at your spreadsheet, it looks like you're able to test during the daytime pretty regularly. If that continues to be the case, it looks like you could attempt a dose increase before giving up on Prozinc? Maybe to 2 units as long as you are able to try to catch Loki's nadir. All yellows isn't terrible, but it would be nice to see more of a "curve" shape to his curves.

How much Prozinc do you have left in your vial? A switch to another insulin might be the way to go, and if it's almost time to buy another vial of Prozinc, or possible trying something different, that might be a good time to make the call.

After all those 500's, 200's are lovely! I think it shows he's responding. I use PZI, and I would give it a little more time to see how Loki does now that lower numbers are starting to show.
