Tiki - Ear Won't Bleed

I just tortured the poor boy, complete with growls and flailing around. HE WILL NOT BLEED. I've tried both ears, his feet, nothing. I've noticed this happening the last couple of days but today it's like a vampire sucked him dry overnight. NOTHING!!!

I need to shoot him up, I doubt he will be low as he NEVER is...but nervous nonetheless....
 
Have you tried a warmed up sock filled with rice? This helped Maverick's ear bleed. I often had to go closer to the tip on bad days though.
 
Hi guys .. boy that really stinks! Mocha's ears were always harder to bleed when it was colder out .. so we used the warm rice sock in the microwave and then rubbed them as well .. Good luck!
 
With Cini Mini I rub and massage his ears. I also learned I get better blood flow if I "milk" the ear and not squeeze it.
 
I tried all of these tricks this morning and nothing worked. I was just able to get some blood tonight so guess he isn't a member of the walking dead!

Oddly, over the last few days he has been flinching at the blood strip as I touch it to his ear, as if it stings or something. Not sure why his ear is so suddenly sensitive, to look at it it doesn't seem to look funny or irritated or infected in any way.

Never a dull day...
 
I was thinking of just hanging him upside down by his feet to let all the blood rush to his head... :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:
