First off, I must Thanks EVERYONE. Tiffy went from Mostly Blacks and Reds to Reds, Pins and Yellows with Some blues.
I am using Beejay's sliding scale as a reference with Carl input on the 1.5 at 150 bg number. I will do 1 unit the most. And I'd love to see 150 bg.
Again, I am sorry about the Rainbow. Thought it was pretty and emphasized happiness.
Tiffy is a lover at these numbers. She purrs frequently, as a matter of fact every time I come near her she bows her head for a pet. I am crying. Why? I know we haven't event reached Utopia with her. She is letting me handle her and hug and kiss her for longer periods. She is going to be the bomb of a cat when we finish with her.
Now, Her ear is better on bacitracin ointment. I cleaned off well before I tested. I am going to store now to see if I can get better pain relief. Maybe reg oral gel on ear. That is okay, and she can clean without me worrying about her. It may her numb that ear and provide better relief.
Because of the ointment, I was able to get a nadir last night and today, but her ear is red as the dickens. Well... I tried the other ear, and no blood. I hit three spots and all it did was leave red marks.
She does well at this insulin dose, but how do we get her out of renal threshold???? please feedback
Also, Ketones are hard as she urinates when she is in her cage and there is no way for me to get to her. She is better with hydration today. The powder potassium helps just so you guys can help others with dehydrated felines. It will abate the possibility of further dehydration and may help with the possibility of subcu's, meaning if you catch the dehydration on time and admin the powder potas, they may not need subcu's.
Remember , I am on her. I will try to get the ketones.
I hope I didn't spike her today's pmps with the fresh chix at +5 nadir testing.
I'd like to get her out of the reds and see only Pinks Yellows and Blues, and eliminate the Pink. I will feel better, can you guys suggest? Nadir is not a huge drop. sometimes very very lil, and sometimes 200 pts, but only when she is high do I see a 200 pt drop. when she is in the 300 and I shot 2.5 she only drops like the most 75 pts if that, more like 20 to 50. when she is in the 500s and 400s that is when I see the 200 pt drops. Help confused_cat
