Hi, Tiffy registered Hi. She's been high, but I think I've been giving her too much fresh chix.
Some reason she rises.
Amyway, I admin'd 4 units and I will retest in 3.5 hours. She ate approx. 3/4 a can, plus the atenonlol.
Any feedback on the dosage. I never admin'd 4. The highest dose is 3.5 for a reading over 475 approx. see dose below in my signature. So I raised .50, and she might bounce but I will watch her.

A hi reading is over 600 so I figured 4. is okay.

yes, I got a nadir, luckily, 206. This morning, she was semi high 508 and I gave her miralax, not moving bowels normally as she does go every day. Any other suggestions with the constipation? Stool softener?????
 
maybe due to neuropathy, Taurine is such a help with that, You can't overload a diabetic, but I can't get in extra due to the bowels. I am mixing in miralax. She went last night, but really eats a lot and needs to move her bowels. She is now reducing her food to approx. 3/4 to 1 can even though tiffy has been high. I'd love to get a reading right now. Thanks for the website. I will read it carefully later.
 
she is better with the constipation. she went again today. I will keep her on the miralax. do you think that is spiking her
 
No Wink gets Miralax at least SID, sometimes BID if his stools get too firm on just the once a day. He is OTJ and I'd know if he was spiking on the Miralax. Nothing in there to cause a BG spike.
