Theresa, I'm really not familiar with the Atenolal. Don't know what dose is correct. If you've got the 25 mg tablets, than 1/4 of a pill would be 6.25mg.
My cat with congestive heart failure was on Furosemide (diuretic) and Enalapril (an ACE inhibitor) and baby aspirin.

it actually is under, it is 1 mg per pound and tiffy is 7.25 so that should be fine. really should get 7.25 so 1.25 mg more, but that is okay. feeling better.
1 mg of atenolol per pound the cat weighs, administered once or twice per day, with a total daily amount of about 6.25. maybe in half 2x a day is better

You asked me about a sugar free probiotic. Try Fortiflora. Or I have and have used in the past Wholistic Feline Digest-all plus. I don't see any sugars listed in the ingredients. It does have a little bit of maltodextrin in it, but it's the last ingredient so there is very little. That might add the tiniest bit of starch ( carb). I don't think it will make a difference in the BG levels, but I haven't used it for Wink in months.
How is Tiffy doing the last couple of days? Haven't seen a post from you.
