tiffy 07~21~13 amps 198 2.25{overshot!! +4.5 ~ 125 help

Hi I got mixed up w everything and I gave tiffy 2.25 on 198 which she should have gotten 1 with close monitoring. So she 125 which is still ok but it only 4.5. So I gave her some wd dry and will retest in 1.com5 hrs. Any feedback. She's doing really well tho. Med is awesome and all she does is purr and I know she loves me. I love them so much!
 
Do you have some more BG readings for us? Please post them in your subject header for your very first post.

:smile: she is fine I didn't re bg her because she was playing and purring the rest of the day. I will test again at 7 for +12 and then she should be back on track. the wd probably pushed her up as it is dry and loaded w carbs. I still love the 125 though, in essence, it is like like 198 on animal gluc, so...
 
In the future, if Tiffy is low, give her a teaspoon of the LC canned food first. The dry food, any dry food, be it high carb or low carb, will take to long to be digested and bring her numbers up fast enough.

The dry food can also take a day or longer to move through her digestive system.

So LC canned, 1t is my suggestion for next time. OK?

Glad to hear she is being playful and purry. Always good signs.

How are Darma and Abyss doing with Tiffy back home?
 
I panicked and forget. Someone said that already and I did it again. But you have to agree the 125 is nice, just was concerned due to the overshoot. And yes, I will low carb her with fancy or something wet. Evo is like no carbs at all. I have to get a low carb wet. Any suggestions? Fancy, I guess, but just give me the exact brand and flavor so I don't botch. I will keep it in home.

She is right up against the gate now. I want to get a pic and send it to you. You'd die. She wants in, but I can't trust her. What I did was confine her to vestibule, kitchen and bathroom, all in same area, and not cage her at all for like 2 days. I have like a 44 inch gate. What I am doing slowly is removing the gate and putting up a small like 2 foot gate. I am playing with abyss and Tiffy through the gates, me on both sides I am also, Taking Abyss to her when tiffy is eating and making him sit with us. I put him on a high stool, so it will take a little for her to get to him. I am also giving them treats together. Darma doesn't like her. Abyss keeps his distance, like 3 feet, 2 feet. Darma stays like 24 feet away. I guess that was Tiffy's message though. So tiffy is laying right up against the 2 foot gate. Funny, she knows she is not permitted over it. I mean, She could jump it, or she has climbed the 44, and she will not. She is so BRILLIANT. she knows, I will not like it. I mean she has plenty of room, so no rush, put she is so spanking Happy. I am trilled with this. She played so much today. :smile: ~O) She is sleeping now, but I did slightly overlap the Atenolol. I hate that, but only by like 45 to a half hour, but I need to get it in line with dinner. OMG. Hopefully this is the beginning of Tiffy's happiness and new new happy life.
