It would be nice to know whether something triggered the lower numbers or whether she was just being Thumper. :mrgreen: Might be worth it to reconstruct the night before and yesterday to see if ANYTHING was different?

You're not going to believe this....Thumper has never gotten into the kitty crack but guess who had some this afternoon? Her civvvie sister is hyper T & has lost weight so I have some in a tupperware bowl I feed her during the day when she comes begging. Thumper was asleep so this time I put the bowl on the floor & forgot about it. :roll: I left the room & when I came back Thumper had her face all in that bowl! I don't really think she got much & so far her #'s aren't too bad but what bad timing. Now it's going to be hard to tell what's really going on if she goes high again. ohmygod_smile

I wish I would have remembered to get a +6. I wonder how low she might have gone. Doesn't look bad but could be better!
Petunia, good grief I hate to admit it but I suppose we might be keeping her...what else am I gonna do with her? We've not even really discussed the name, DH just started calling her that! I moved her into the spare bedroom today & so far no one has noticed. She's not fussing yet either, thankfully. She does try to get out when I go in there and has just been hiding under the bed. My biggest problem is trying to figure out if she's spayed. The clinic I took her to only does shots & FeLV testing but they said they really couldn't tell if she had a scar or not and the only other way to be sure was to open her up. I don't want to do that so I might just wait it out to see if she goes into heat. Anyone have any other suggestions? Did I say before, she's black except for a few white hairs on her chest & get this...under both arms! I mean front legs! :lol: She has put on some weight but still doesn't weigh 7 pounds.

You know Barbara.... you might want to think of a part-time job as a wedding planner. A couple more chaotic weekends, and Thumper could be sugar-free! Those numbers are looking excellent!

The bump from the crack will clear in a day or so. Make believe it didn't happen, and don't adjust anything.
okay, is anybody here shocked by this?
I would think that they'd be able to tell if there were "missing parts" by doing an x-ray or ultrasound? The mystery would be solved if she does go into heat though.

come to think of it, do they remove parts, or do they just cut tubes? I haven't had a cat fixed in 10 years....

I'm guessing it might not be cost effective to go that route...well for me anyway. They suggested just waiting....as long as all my others are fixed & she doesn't get out. DH is not always the best babysitter when they are outside though. THEN, they said if it was early or late (don't get that one) they might not be able to tell if she's pregnant. ohmygod_smile I think they remove parts Carl.
