I don't know what to think. This is her 4th day on antibiotics, I would have thought if it were the infection causing her BG to be so high it would have come down by now? I just got back home so I haven't gotten any more #'s and she's hiding under the bed cause it's thundering. I don't want to drag her out so I will check when she does come out. I'm trying not to think she's really got something bad going on. :cry:

And Kim, it was very hot here today!

Judy, it didn't start storming till about 2 hrs after I left this evening and she has been in the A/C all day so that's not it.

If she's still in the 300's in the morning should I go up to 1.2?

Thanks for the info Wendy! I've realized lately I've gotten so consumed with Thumper I forget about Callie's Hyper T! I'm not ready for them to be old & have health problems....are any of us ever ready though! :YMSIGH:
 
Hmmm, what's up Thumper? It's like 1/2 the PZI kitties are going green today, and the other 1/2 going the wrong way. :? What up???

I'd get a nadir test either tonight or tomorrow before raising the dose again. If you could get a couple spot tests in tomorrow, maybe a mini-curve +3 +6 +9, that would be useful.

Even though a +4 250 isn't exciting, it's a significant drop - 165 points, 40% drop by +4. Not too steep I don't think, but not shabby either. You don't want it much steeper than that. So don't be discouraged! She could still get a blue nadir, and really you don't want a drop to greens anyway from that kind of PS.
