Well, we did it! We actually did it! Today as she was quietly resting in my lap, I felt her ears and they felt so warm. I thought, This has to be the perfect time. And it was. i actually pricked her little ear, one time, and out popped a beautiful drop of blood. I quickly snatched it up and into the meter, and out came some wonderful numbers----215--! It was 334 last December, and 350 last week in the hospital. So I am a happy lady!
I started her on M/D yesterday--and yesterday she loved it. today she won't touch it. I've got to find a really good food that is low in phosphorus as well as carbohydrates....somewhere out there, it awaits me........
