Hi everyone, is this the right Friskies Pate? It's what I've been feeding Charlie since his diagnosis 3 weeks ago. I consulted Dr. Pierson's food PDF and it specifies Friskies CLASSIC Pate. He's eating Salmon, Mariner's Catch and Ocean Whitefish & Tuna. The cans don't say Classic.

Thanks!

Hi Karen , Does Charlie only eat fish flavors, I could be wrong but I thought just feeding all fish flavors was not good, you might want to ask that question .
Diane, I chose the fish flavors from Dr. Pierson's PDF because they were highest in protein, not because of his preference. Thank you for mentioning it. I'll post the question here and as a separate topic, since it is a separate topic.

Can anyone provide feedback on a fish only diet?

If you look towards the bottom of Dr. Pierson's chart she has a comment on why she doesn't recommend much fish. It has a high allergy potential, high levels of toxin/mercury, has thyroid-disrupting properties, too high in phosphorous/magnesium, and is insanely addictive to the point where some cats refuse to eat anything else.

Usually poultry is a good choice.
