Just wanted to say thank you for all the wonderful words of encouragement.
I will never understand how some people are. No one can, I think.
I don't think I will ever hear from Rocky's "mom" again.
Since the last phone conversation, she hasn't even tried to call. Which is fine by me.
I did, however, send her an email. The wonders of technology. I got to say my peace, not have to listen to any more bullcrap lies and have the last word.
I got to tell her exactly how I felt, and I didn't hold back.
With this, I feel like I have vindicated Rocky.
Although he was only in my home for a month, he has been in my heart since he was born 9 years ago. He was only 9.

Anyway, i just wanted you all to know I have felt your prayers.
And I will still be around, probably just not as much.
Will probably hang out mostly in health, where I can do the most good, since Callie Mae is doing so good! :mrgreen:

I just want to say that I read your story and I was just appalled that that happened to poor Rocky.

What happened was totally unjustified :sad: I'm so sorry.

I'm really glad you checked in. I was concerned about you. I'm glad you got to say your piece at least, but I would make that the last contact you have with her. If she sends a reply (doubt she will), I'd direct it to the spam folder. Some people are just sick and toxic and it is better to avoid them or they will just make you crazy. Glad to hear Callie Mae is doing well, but do check in around here once in a while! We'll miss you.

I would never speak to that psycho person again. It was good for you to say your piece and get that out of your system, but I agree, I would not respond to her email (doubtful she will reply) because someone that sick cannot explain her motives or reasoning in any form a sane person could understand. Like I said before, I wish there was someway to alert anyone in the area that might have a cat for adoption to not let this lady adopt from a shelter, vet or individual. I would be worried for any animal left in her care.
Glad Callie Mae is doing well and still sending prayers and good thoughts your way as you try to recover from the loss of Rocky.

Thanks for posting, I have been wondering how you are doing. I know Rocky's loss has shocked all of us this week, so I can't even imagine how it is for you who are in the situation first hand. He is so lucky he got that last month with you, to get to feel better and be taken care of. That is a gift, even if taken away much too soon.
