Thank you all so much for your kind, caring and heartfelt words and wishes. I am so lucky to have a group of people that understand my loss and you were a Godsend to me when we were dealing with Purrcee's diabetes and now his passing. I have told many people about this group and encourage them to seek you out should they need to. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Hugs to all.

My baby boy has left me and I am beyond sad and heartbroken. A while back I posted he was hiding and not himself. It took some time to find the cause which turned out to be oral cancer that could not be treated because of its location. Purrcee's cancer was in his tonsil and traveling down the right side of his neck. This type of cancer is fast moving and painful and he already had trouble eating and was in a lot of pain. Purrcee was such a wonderful boy and always the Walmart greeter in my house. He is in my heart and soul forever and I shall miss him so much. I couldn't save my boy but I had to make the heartbreaking decision to save him for further pain. He beat diabetes but he couldn't beat this awful disease.

I urge everyone that when they take their cats to the vet and they check their teeth to have them check farther down and really get a good look.

Cancer seems to just be so prevalent now. He knows how much you love him. I hope he will visit you in a dream.

I am so very sorry for your loss. You made a decision that broke your heart but put Purrcee's wellbeing first. That is the kindest and most generous act that you could do.

Fly free little one and land softly. There are many kitties who we dearly love who will be at the Bridge to greet you and keep you company until you are reunited with the one you love best.

To make this choice is one of the most difficult decisions you will ever have to make. It's so hard to let our loved ones go but knowing you saved Purrcee from prolonged pain will hopefully comfort you in the days and weeks ahead. You did all you could for your sweet Purrcee. I am so glad to hear Purrcee beat FD and that you were able to become part of our family. We are here to help and comfort you in any way we can.

Our very, very deepest condolences. I am so sorry for your grief and pain but I know what it is like to let a kitty go out of love. It's difficult but it is also a blessing that we are able to help our beloved kitties move on to a place of peace, light, and love. Purcee will always know the depth of your love for him.

I am so sorry to hear that Purrcee has gone to wait for you at the Bridge. Your heart is wounded, but you knew the right thing to do for your sweet furbaby.

Oh Julie, I am so sorry to read of the loss of your furbaby. We all feel it when one of our "own" crosses the bridge. I hold you in my prayers.

Cinco and I send our deepest sympathy on the loss of your baby. Like many here, I know how it feels, and the pain seems almost unbearable. You have many wonderful people here thinking of you and praying for you, and I hope you have some peace knowing that your burden is shared by us all. You gave Purrcee the ultimate gift - freedom from suffering, even though you didn't want to lose him. I'm sure he knew how great that sacrifice was for you, and he is waiting by the bridge for the day that he gets to snuggle in your lap again. I'll keep you in my prayers.

Letting them go is always so hard, but when their lives are reduced to pain and suffering, it is the kindest final gift and act of love we can show them. *hugs*
