OK, I've been hesitant to make a thread like this - but it's time. Blue Cat has been OTJ now for over 200 days and I just want to thank you all for the support and info you've provided to us since Blue had become diabetic. You're the best bunch of people.. No lie! I'm tempted to individually thank you all by name, but you all know who you are and I don't want to forget anyone.
It was one of the most stressful periods for me (Blue is tougher than me it seems as he seemed to take all the ear bleedings and shots in stride
) and all the ups and downs were so frustrating - as you all know.
I've been peaking in here and there and wanted to give thanks and info much earlier, but for some reason I didn't want to jinx anything so we layed low for a bit. I'm going to post over in the ... ugh, it's still tough to say it... REMISSIONS thread soon so that others can get any info they need from our progress. I owe it all to you guys in this forum and the info put forth by Dr. Hodgkins.
If there is any advice I can give or any help don't hesitate to PM me. I will say that it is very normal to get frustrated with this, but never give up as your little kitties deserve the best that you can do for them. Hopefully with perseverance and good fortune - positive things will happen. If things don't work out perfectly, just be certain that you did your best and your kitty appreciates it.
Thanks all and Happy Holidays. :thumbup
