Testing Strip Question!

I've looked all over the forums, for about 2 hours now, to no avail!
When testing Rus, with the new smaller lancets l bought, l sometimes put an extra strip in my pocket (over shirt, not right next to my body) in case of an error. Not uncommon with these lancets!
When done, maybe 15 minutes at most, if l forget, are they still ok?
I place them back in the container, upside down, so l know which ones have been taken out.
Now, my question is whether they're still good to go or not?
Thanx!♡

Are you asking if the strips are ok if they are out of the container for 15 minutes? I would think that they are ok. I test next to a bed and I sometimes dump a bunch out of the container onto the bed, then I put it all back into the container and they all test ok. Have you been getting errors?

Nope. Just used the last of the 'upright' ones in the container, earlier.
Yet, he was 300s AMPS, but was 468 at +5. Very abnormal! But they were the Good ones, in with the others I had put back in!
Hope they didn't contaminate them! ;)
Anyway, I thank you, and all I can do is use them tonight and tomorrow, then go buy new ones!
Too bad, cause there's about 20 of them!
Also, Rusty is very bouncy, so perhaps from his pretty even numbers yesterday, until Hi at PMPS (usual), maybe he was 468!
Weird tho...♡

The strips should be fine, but you'll be better off if you just put the whole container in your pocket instead of just putting an extra strip there in case there's something in your pocket that gets on the chemicals that make the strips work....should also be harder to forget it's there!!

I think you're just still seeing him bounce from the 52....it can take up to 6 cycles to clear those aggravating bounces

The strips will absorb humidity fro the air which will effect their accuracy. The strip vial contains an desiccant to maintain the strips dry. Sometimes the desiccant is under the cap of the vial and sometimes it is and thick coating on the inside the vial. Put the strips back in the via to dry them out.
