Tested my non-diabetic cats blood...should I be concerned?

Hi. I have three cats. One is diabetic and the other two aren't but they are a bit heavier.

I tested one of them with alphatrak2 bc he's been very hungry lately and was laying next to his water bowl (he does love playing with water though and I do have him on a diet). After breakfast (1/4 cup dry UR diet) his level was 116.

Is that something to be worries about? I know I probably sound paranoid and crazy! I just know above 120 is not normal but I wasn't sure if it makes a difference if they had just eaten....

On the AT2 meter, normal would be roughly 68 to 150 (up to 175 according to IDEXX labs) so the reading you got is within normal limits. If your cat just ate it's normal for BG to elevate temporarily but it should drop again by about 3 hours post meal. Not familiar with the food you are feeding but chances are good it's high carb which means the BG spike could be substantial in comparison to that you would see from a low carb wet diet.
Not crazy to be concerned. Better to find out if kitty has elevated BG sooner rather than later. :)

All cats have a temporary elevation after eating on a healthy cat the number should go down on it's own in around 2 to 3 hours and Dry UR diet is high carb so it raises the numbers quite a bit even on a healthy cat the difference from him to a diabetic cat is that the healthy one would lower the numbers with out any "external" influence. But if he's showing some symptoms it may be worthed to monitor him for a bit and maybe consider putting him on a low carb diet
