Tested BG 258 wont eat

ate about 1Tbs
Afraid to give him a shot.
Any advice.

I only said 0.5 because you were nervous about him not eating much. You can up it if you are around to test.

A streak of yellow numbers like that often comes before a drop. It's a pattern that's noticed by many here. You could try the 0.625 u dose or drop to 0.5 u because his appetite is off. ProZinc is slow-ish in onset so you have about 2 hours after injecting to coax a little food into him. A couple of teaspoons should be enough. Is he prone to constipation? Could that be brewing?

He does at times have issues with constipation. was a little backed up this am but had a good bm. this afternoon.
