Good job on doing your curve and getting a spread sheet set up. You should ALWAYS test before each shot and if possible at least once in between shots. What type of insulin are you using. The onset is different for different types so the best time for testing between shots can be different
Could you add some more information to your signature..type of insulin, type of meter..human or pet, when diagnosed, type of food you are feeding, your kitty's name and yours if you would like, so that people don't have to ask every time

Also the higher PMPS number you got today is because of the lower reading you got at +5. When a kitty drops a lot or gets down into lower numbers than it is currently used to this can cause a "bounce" into higher numbers which can last a day or a few days. This doesn't mean that more insulin is needed, just time to clear the bounce.
So I definitely don't need to change the amount of insulin right? My vet says that if I have him regulated I only need to do a curve every few months and a pre-shot isn't necessary because I'm feeding him when insulin is given.
He's on PZI and I have the Alphatrack monitor. He's 11 years old and eats FF pate. Where do I put this info so it's in my signature. I don't see anywhere on the spreadsheet.

Doing a test before EVERY shot is the only safe way to know if the numbers are safe to shoot. Glucose numbers can change as the body changes...you may need to use more or you may need to use less...there is no way to tell unless you are testing. A good comparison is when a person is diagnosed as diabetic and started on insulin, they are TOLD to test before each shot and test in between. If a person is dropping into too low of numbers they can tell, since they feel "weird". There is no way for our kitties to tell us so we need to test to keep them safe. Unfortunately the old school way with vets was periodic tests and curves at the vets. The new standards are to encourage regular home testing and have the curves done at home.
As far as the dose...I really can't say if you should give the same dose without knowing what the preshot test is.

You would go to the top of this page where your name is..hold the mouse pointer over your name and there will be a drop down box. On the left side of the box , second item down is "Signature" . You would click on this and it takes you to an edit box for your signature. Add in the information you want and then click "Save Changes" when you are done.

Good job on the spreadsheet. It looks like he dropped quite a bit and he probably bounced from the green up for preshot. I'd keep an eye on the nadirs and get one any time you can. They tend to settle into the insulin at first, and he may drop lower in the next few cycles. With a pet meter, you don't want him under 68.
