Good morning LL beans,
This morning, I got this video of the little fawn who appeared the day after we buried Tessie Lou, and ran full tilt around her grave. It's such a delight to see him, so full of life! After the first deer kicked at him, he went running to his momma, but then had to show her he wasn't "really" scared. Yea, right!

I read MJ's condo from yesterday, and she said so perfectly how it feels after we lose our precious kitties, and how much it helps to have you all to support us. My heart goes out to her, and all the others who have felt this kind of pain (I suspect most of us here). Yesterday was a terrible day for me. I just couldn't shake the sadness. Today is a better day so far. We just have to keep going one day at a time.

MJ, if you read this, I hope this video will bring a smile to your face!

The video did indeed bring a smile. Given that I live in the heart of the city, the most "wildlife" that I see are sea gulls, squirrels, and I've seen a bat and a rat. (There are a few wolves that are around the lakefront.)

You wanted a sign from Tessie Lou. I think you got it on tape.

Hi Sandy -

Wow, that is fantastic - loved the video, love the thought that indeed Tessie Lou is still with you - always will be. What a delightful video that is.

I think too we all know the pain that one feels after we loose one of our furkids. I know I have. It is so hard, so very painful. In time that pain and sorrow is replaced with joyful fond memories, memories full of life, just as that fawn is. Hugs to all there.

What a beautiful video. Tessie Lou is obviously sending you a sign and wanted to put a smile on your face. Hugs to you Sandy! Thinking about you often and hope you are doing ok. ((((((HUGS))))))

Sienne, a bat and a rat!  Hopefully, they were outside, not inside! Glad you enjoyed the clip.

Michelle, I know what you mean, and you're absolutely right, the sadness eventually gives way to happy memories. I know she will always be with me in my heart.

Melissa, glad you liked the video, and thanks for thinking of me. I am doing okay. I still read as many condos as I can, to stay up on what Tarragon and the other kitties are up to. I really care about them all. Hugs back to you!

Amy, thanks for saying my girl is beautiful. She had a beautiful spirit about her, too. Very kind, understanding, nurturing, and patient. Very special girl that I was lucky enough to have for a short time...

Back to my painting project...thanks for stopping by everyone!

Oh, I wanted to see the video so bad, but when I tried it opened up a new window and I just got an icon in the middle of the screen, and then could not access anything on my parents old computer, and had to shut the whole thing down.
I'm so glad Tessie Lou is sending you signs. She's such a good girl.

Hi Sandy, What a beautiful fawn Tessie Lou sent you! We have a mother doe and tiny fawn in the woodsy part of our yard, too. They are magical. Thanks so much for posting this video. I think of you often and hope that you are doing OK. Tessie Lou is certainly watching over you.

Hugs from Rusty and me,

Ella

Sandy: I've been thinking of you and wondering how you were doing. What a beautiful video and testament that Tessie Lou is still with you.

When I had Teddi in last week and they were about to take her from me, I thought of you. I told the vet that God forbid anything should go wrong but if it did, they should send someone out for me...I did not want Teddi to be without me in her last minutes. I probably would not have thought of that but for Tessie Lou so she whispered in my ear to tell the vet....just in case. Thank you Tessie Lou!!

Dyana, that's a bummer that you couldn't see it. I'm not computer literate enough to advise you on what to do. Thanks for your support though, and yes, she is a very good sweet girl.

Ella, you're right, they really are magical, and we're both lucky to get to see them. I'm glad you enjoyed the video. I wanted to post, but I didn't want to bring everyone down, so when I got the video, I thought, "now I can post something positive and stay in touch." Thanks for thinking of me, and for the hugs. Rusty is such a sweet guy...

Hi celi! You're so welcome, and the fawn now has a name! TL, I love it.

Hi Lisa, doesn't it just make your day to see it? I just feel blessed after getting a glimpe of a wild creature, and it makes me feel really good that they are safe when they are on my land. It's great to see you, too! Thanks for stopping by tonight.

Marge, I've been thinking of you, too. I am so touched that my girl was able to help you at the vet's. She always wanted to be helpful, and she's definitely still communicating! That's my girl! I'm so glad Teddi made it through ok. I admit when I read someone's condo now and they say they are going to the vet, my heart stops.
It's good to hear from you and thank you so much for sharing that with me.

Ann, yes, isn't it just like her? So sweet, and full of life. I hope the momma will keep her in our woods for a long time so I can watch her grow...

Tessie's little brother, TJ, has been affected by her loss as well. But last night, he caught his first mouse and it really perked him up. He was pretty darned proud of himself! Maybe Tessie Lou had something to do with that, too!

Well, I'm off to bed. It felt really good to be back in touch today. Thank you all so much for stopping by. And I hope all beans get some rest tonight.

Been thinking of you, Sandy! The video was just gorgeous... and most definitely a message from Miss TL to warm your heart. So wonderful to hear from you! I understand the pain... taking the final steps to the leave the apartment where Miss Belle spent her last days has been hard... but she too has been sending me signs that it is okay.

((hugs)) to you!
