Temporarily rehoming 3 cats?

One of my friends is getting kicked out of her house soon, and won't be able to take care of her 3 cats(all healthy, non-diabetic, about 1-4 years old I believe) until she can find a new place that allows pets. But she doesn't know who to go to, especially since she's fallen on hard times with money. So she asked if I could ask around for her, and only place I know to go to is here.

So does anyone have any suggestions for things she can do for her cats? She lives in the same area as me(Columbus, Ohio), I would take them on, but my girls are too territorial.
 
I am too far away to be of any practical use, but wanted to send your friend a hug. That sounds like a very tough situation to be in. I hope she is able to find someone to give her kitties a place to stay until she gets herself settled.
 
Thanks for the thoughts. It is a very tough situation, I really wish I could help her more. Her cats are adorable too, I can see if I can get some pics up of them.
