Hello All,
I recently came across Taste of the Wild dry and canned cat food. I can't find any info on Binky's page but I was wondering if any one knows the nutrition info and whether it is a good choice for my Sugar Cat Max. It is grain free and made in the USA. Thanks!!

You might check this list of Pet Food Nutritional Values

But as I recall from getting it and announcing that, it isn't low carb enough. Plus, dry food is not a good option for cats - it puts a lot of work on the kidneys because it doesn't have enough water in it and cats do not drink enough to compensage. See Cat Info for more information about appropriate nutrition for a cat.

TOTW has two canned foods:

Canyon River Feline Formula in gravy
Trout, Fish Broth, Vegetable Broth, Ocean Whitefish, Dried Egg White, Pea Flour, Modified Potato Starch, Natural Flavor, Carrots, Sweet Potatoes, Smoked Salmon, Calcium Carbonate, Sodium Tripolyphosphate, Salt, Potassium Chloride, Dried Chicory Root, Choline Chloride, Yucca Schidigera Extract, Taurine, Tomatoes, Blueberries, Raspberries, Sunflower Oil, Iron Proteinate, Zinc Proteinate, Manganese Proteinate, Copper Proteinate, Sodium Selenite, Calcium Iodate, Thiamine Mononitrate (Vitamin B1), Niacin Supplement (Vitamin B3), Vitamin E Supplement, Calcium Pantothenate (Vitamin B5), Pyridoxine Hydrochloride (Vitamin B6), Riboflavin Supplement (Vitamin B2), Biotin (Vitamin B7), Vitamin B12 Supplement, Vitamin D2 Supplement, Menadione Sodium Bisulfite Complex, Folic Acid (Vitamin B9).

Rocky Mountain Feline Formula in gravy
Salmon, fish broth, chicken broth, chicken liver, chicken, dried egg white, ocean fish, peas, modified potato starch, natural flavor, roasted salmon, roasted venison, guar gum, calcium carbonate, potassium chloride, yucca schidigera extract, dried chicory root, choline chloride, taurine, tomatoes, blueberries, raspberries, iron proteinate, zinc proteinate, manganese proteinate, copper proteinate, sodium selenite, calcium iodate, thiamine mononitrate (Vitamin B1), niacin supplement (vitamin B3), vitamin E supplement, calcium pantothenate (vitamin B5), pyridoxine hydrochloride (Vitamin B6), riboflavin supplement (vitamin B2), biotin (vitamin B7), vitamin B12 supplement, vitamin D2 supplement, menadione sodium bisulfite complex, folic acid (vitamin B9).

Both are grain-free but do contain starches (aka carbs) for the gravy. It may or may not raise bgs. You could try it for your cat and monitor bg levels or just stick with what's on Binky's charts and the Pet Food Nutritional Values chart to be safe.

I used to feed some Taste of the Wild dry before Bandit was diagnosed with diabetes. When I called and got the as-fed values in 2009, the carb content was 23%, so it's too high for a diabetic.
