Hello everyone my name is Mandy and me and my family just took in Taco to be another one of our forever fur babies. I did have Sushi who was also diabetic but with a broken heart I tell you that we had to let him go the afternoon after we picked Taco up from the Airport. Really makes me feel that Taco was more than meant to be. Sushi was my baby. Besides my kids and hubby that cat was my everything. Very Thankful to have Taco to keep my mind off my broken heart.
Taco is doing very well. He’s so much different than Sushi which is taking some getting used to of course. Sushi was hand raised so he was a giant marshmallow! All 3 of my cats are gobblers when it comes to meals. Taco takes FOREVER to eat. And doesn’t always finish a meal. I recently switched his food to a lower carb one and he’s enjoying it more and eating a bit faster. He tests on his pads and my Sushi we tested on his ears. He seems to want to be around my other 2 cats more than they want to around him. There hasn’t been any fighting with the cats or my 3 pugs. Taco seems to be fitting in just fine. I’m
Sure it won’t be long till he’s sleeping in the cat baskets with one of my other 2 cats. I beyond thankful for this opportunity considering my recent loss. I told my hubby this is what I want to do forever. Take in cats that are hard to place because of diabetes or such. If anyone has any questions about taco or wants any further today just let me know! Much love to you all and your fur babies!
