Where do you get your syringes? I've called a few places and they don't have the ones the vet gave me. 3/10 cc 1/2" length 29 gauge needle. It says for u-40 insulin

U-40 syringes are specifically used for prozinc. and are pet insulin syringes. You can purchase them online through the above link american diabetes wholesale at the top of each page- I believe it's about $14 for a box of 100. you will probably need a syringe too.
In addition, you can also purchase inexpensively U100 syringes from walmart for example a box of 100 for $13.
You will need the vet to write a scrip AND MOST IMPORTANTLY - you will need to use the conversion chart in order to use the correct dose - the only reason I suggest this, is that U100 syringes can be purchased with 1/2 unit markings and for micro dosing it's needed, U40 syringes don't come with 1/2 unit markings
here is the conversion chart - as you can see it's easy to use - just print it out, put on fridge, in your hypo kit, with syringes, etc so you don't have to try to memorize
