I am wondering if my vet prescribed the correct size syringe.

What size insulin syringe is the correct size?

What type of insulin you are using determines what type of syringe you need. If you are using Lantus or Levemir you need U100 syringes (they have orange caps). If you are using Vetsulin or Prozinc you need U40 syringes (they have a red cap).
