ProZinc is a U40 insulin and you use a U40 syringe to dose it. Get syringes with half unit marks - you'll need them. Here's an example of what people buy:

The other type of insulin syringe is a U100 and is for dosing U100 insulin like Lantus. They can be used to dose ProZinc but require a conversion table like this: http://www.felinediabetes.com/insulin-conversions.htm. The advantage is that you can give smaller dose fractions with these. You're just beginning so it might be wise to wait until all of this is routine and familiar before trying U100 syringes.
Here's the origin of the two types of syringe:
U40 syringe for a U40 insulin - contains 40 units of insulin per mL of liquid
U100 syringe for U100 insulin - contains 100 units of insulin per mL of liquid.
U100 insulin is more concentrated than U40 insulin by 2.5 times (100 ÷ 40 = 2.5).
The needle gauge and length you buy is personal preference.
