Suggestions on which meter to switch to? Hubby and I are getting a little miffed at the price of the Advocate Meters Strips, even though we love it!
We are looking for a reliable meter that has less 'Errors'. Want to keep blood sample size on the lower end. And then take into account the price of the strips. We tend to use a minimum of 4 a day.
Thanks!
Jess

Most of us use the Relion brand from Wal-Mart. The Confirm or Micro require a very small sample, and the strips are usually $35.00 for a box of 100 but I usually get mine for better deals on Ebay, personally. The Relion Prime requires a larger blood drop but the strips are much cheaper. Just comes down to preference.

I second the Relion Micro. I really like it. It requires a very small drop, as small as the alphatrak2 which is made for pets. I had started with the AT2 but switched due to cost and difficulty converting numbers.

I order the test strips on walmart site. Very cheap.
