My source for testing strips seems to be drying up already (dx 8/3/21) for our pet meter. I really like this meter though so I’m annoyed about it. My vet only had a couple boxes of 50 strips so I bought those and then my online recurring order is delayed because they are currently out of stock. It’s been a week and they have no idea when they will be able to ship my 100 strips. I might need to look at alternatives (human glucometers) so I don’t have this problem in the future.
My biggest concern/question is how do we handle the spreadsheet switch since there were separately formatted SS for human and pet meters? I don’t want to mess up Loki’s recent progress and confuse my daughter and I about the BGL readings by switching.
Also, I know that everyone recommends the Relion Prime at Walmart for cost but our Walmart is kind of hit and miss with restocking. Are there other decent meters available at more than Walmart that have inexpensive strips that cost less than $1 each? My current pet testing strips are about 70 cents each, and I can afford that but since I like to have at least 100 on-hand maybe I should be considering cost more.
