SUMO's new numbers

Hello, today was my first opportunity to do a curve in several days. Sumo did good with mainly yellow numbers, but he continues to keep his inexpierenced mom quite puzzled. He has been on .9 Pro Zinc for 6 days now. I am happy to see those mid to high 200's. But I have a funny feeling with me being home today to give him lots of attention, lap sitting and praise has something to do with his lower numbers? Maybe I'm nuts, but I bet if I were at work all day and just able to get an AMPS and PMPS, I think those numbers would be considerably higher ??? Just a gut feeling  Anyway, Just checking in to see if I should be considering adjusting his dose? I will continue the .9 unless you recommend differently. As always, I am open to any suggestions.
Thanks alot, Mary

It does look better, Mary. Especially the pmps tonight. But you have stuck with .9 a long time. I guess you could give him a fat .9? One unit didn't work well for him before.

Sorry Sue, I don't know if being home with his bean is effecting his bg's or not but todays curve suggestes a lower dose to me.

PMPS was lower than AMPS thus dose decrease.

I guess I wasn't comparing amps and pmps - just considering the overall cycle in the high 200s. Oops. She's been at .6 and .8. What do you think?

The same thing happened on .8 a few times too.
Sumo was only on .6 for a couple days... maybe the secret number is .6 or .7?

What does it mean to give a '"fat" shot?

You may see dosing advice saying "fat" or "skinny". It is my understanding it is just a "smidge" over or under the dose. Less than a drop. You have to "eyeball it" since there is no real mark on the syringe,
