2 questions for y'all tonight...

1) My Farmhouse doesn't have heat or a/c. This is our first week of real summer temps and my first summer with diabetes. Will the heat affect her glucose?
(She is in a room with a fan in the window and has one of the cool mat beds to lay on, or hardwood floors, but mostly she chooses the cool mat, plenty of water access.)

2) The vet recommended a water supplement when our dog was last at the vet. It noticeably seems to at least help with stinky breath. I haven't used the supplement since Fabby was diagnosed, but her breath seems to be getting worse. Will the supplement affect her diabetes/glucose?
(We've used Natural Promise Fresh Dental Water Additive Hip and Joint. The ingredients are: Purified water, Glycerin, Cetylpyridinium Chloride, Citric Acid, Potassium Sorbate, Green Tea Leaf Extract)

Thanks in advance!!!

We are getting the same summer temps as you up here in MD! It's our first summer too but I don't think temperature can affect her BG unless she gets uncomfortable and stresses about it. :)

2. The only questionable ingredient that sticks out to me is Glycerin. I think it may just taste sweet and not actually be a sweetener... Let me see :bookworm:

Found 1 other post about another product called Healthy Mouth. Vet told that member it shouldn't impact BG because of dilution.
Just keep an eye on Fabby's numbers. On a side note, looks like it might be time to try 1.5U :)

I just said that to my spouse tonight! We've had about a week of no weird issue popping up now, and while the 300's are an improvement over the 500's, it sort of seems we're just not getting the blues consistent enough to help the AMPS and PMPS numbers.
I was going to go let @JanetNJ know - I give in. ;)
We'll start 1.5 u in the morning.
Ears are growing fur back and inflammation is gone. Sores are healing from where she scratched.
No more throwing up, and eating back to normal...

So time to get back to making progress on these numbers!

Glad she's doing better!
