Here I am! Posting from work. Lu you are right, I have been working, and we are also dealing with some flood issues at home, so are currently staying in Estes Park. Highway 36 is washed out below us. If you've seen any news about Pinewood Springs, that's the community 2 miles down the road. My husband is a volunteer with the Fire Department there. The road is also partially washed out above us, but it's passable. Last Thursday, we made the call to move ourselves and the dogs and cat out of there in case the road washed out further. My husband left his truck just below the washout so we could hopefully walk through and still get to my horse if it came to that, but it's stabilized now. We have had no power at the house for over a week, and without power, we have no well pump, so no water either. The basement had 2" of water in it, which we are working with a generator and sump pumps to get cleared out. I have no idea when we will have power restored. I can't even think about dealing with the freezer.
Linus is fine, he's been calm and relaxed wherever he goes. First we stayed with relatives - Linus made a good buddy out of my brother-in-law. We are now staying in Pierre's brother's empty 2nd home in Estes. Linus and both dogs sleep with me during the day

His numbers have stayed fairly stable except when crazy schedules have interfered. He's been in the 200's a lot more on Levemir. I was just going to increase his dose when we had to evacuate. Now, I don't want to mess with things until we get home. Every now and then he throws me a curve with a 90-140 at shot time. I'm still figuring out what to do there, but it's really nice to see numbers like that.
We are going to have to order dog and cat food from Petco online for a while, it's really a long haul to get out of Estes Park right now. I'm glad I have that option, and don't need to rely on Safeway.
I'm glad I checked the boards tonight and could check in. Keep in touch, everyone!
